Newsletter - 27th June 2006
Dear subscribers,
With only a few days left before the next London Alternative Market, we are
busy putting the finishing touches to the event. New stalls this month provide shopping
opportunities for even more choices in exciting clothing and shoes as well as new toys and other devious delights:
- Studio Sew Sew — divine Victorian inspired garments that create unique outfits at
extremely affordable prices.
- Play Pain — devious toys and tools crafted from stainless steel and alloys. If you can
dream or describe the design they can probably make it.
- Fetique — Clothing
in sizes to tempt the most voluptuous BBW (sizes up to 50) and shoes galore (in sizes up to UK 14s).
- Love Bomb —
holographic, UV and reflective clothes and accessories.
- My Lady's Crepes and the Deviant Diner will be providing sustenance on the
gallery level as usual. New summer treats have been added to the usual menu and, of course, you can relax and
enjoy the great photography and art displays while you eat.
As always, there is a packed schedule for the day:
- 11am — Doors open
- 12:30pm — LAM workshop. The 3rd
LAM workshop, focussing on Electro Play, is
hosted by MC of the LAM crew.
Entry to this is included in the LAM ticket and handouts will be
available. The workshop will illustrate the safety aspects that need to be considered when engaging in Electro
Play and will serve as a foundation for more advanced workshops on electro-stim and violet
wands, planned for the coming months.
- 2pm — Unfettered
will be giving an update on their latest activities in the preparation for Kinkfest
3 at the end of the month. Another fun event with lots to see, do and learn.
- 4pm — we will be entertained by Jo King and other dancers from the London School of
Striptease with a medley of erotic dance styles and a few pointers on how to incorporate dance into
your play time.
- After demo — the raffle draw will take place. This month, the following prizes are up for
grabs:
- 6pm — LAM closes; til next month, of
course!
The LAM has, after only 4 events, raised over
£2100 for scene based community causes. So you can feel really good about having a great day
out while also providing real support to our community. The LAM crew
would like to express sincere thanks to all those who have attended the events to date and helped raise this amazing
sum, particularly the traders and London clubs who provide raffle prizes!
The LAM After-Market Party is going from strength to strength and
offers a great atmosphere for people to continue socialising and also an opportunity to test new purchases and have
access to quality equipment.
We look forward to seeing you this coming Sunday 2nd July 2006 and again the month after
(Sunday 8th August), when the supported cause will be the Spanner Trust. They will be
announcing raffle prizes in due course.
Regards,
