London Alternative Market

Newsletter - June 2007

Dear subscribers,

Well it's almost LAM time again and we have a great day in store.

We have generously been donated a Scorpion Stinger fantasy knife by Volcanic Sparks (house Domme at Club XS in Kent). Tickets will be on sale at the community desk with all proceeds raised going in aid of the Spanner Trust, the draw will take place at 4pm. The blade is from the Master Cutlery collection and comes complete with a display stand.

We will also be welcoming to the flock some new stalls:

  • Xtreme Footwear — fantasy footwear at xtremely affordable prices.
  • Indian head massage — relax at the hands of Mistress Dark Angel.
  • Lacing Lilith — handmade corsets of a high standard at affordable prices.

The official schedule for the day is:

  • 11am — Doors open.
  • 12:30pm — LAM workshop (subject to last minute change)
  • 2pm — The stage demo will be a performance by the Switch Theatre Punk & Rudy. This fabulously entertaining cabaret piece was developed with The Commedia Project and features Killpussy from Hussy Girls and the gorgeous bobette. It was premiered at Duckie in March, and this is its 2nd outing.
  • 4pm — LAM Cash draw and special prizes.
  • 6pm — LAM closes; 'til next month, of course!

The LAM after market party is unfortunately once again homeless. Despite a busy schedule we are attempting to resolve this and hope to get the party back on track for next month.

Tickets will be on sale for various SM events including The Boat party 16th June and the Winsham BDSM workshops and party 9th June. Information on these and other events is available from the community desk.

Don't forget the LAM love police will also be out and about all month; if you spot someone you want an introduction to, tell anyone wearing a love police arm band and they will be happy to help. If you are interested in joining the Love Police please let us know, we are always keen to recruit.

To date the LAM has raised over £8100 in support of scene causes and community projects — for this, and your continued support, we would like to thank you.

We're looking forward to welcoming you back on the 3rd June for the next LAM.

Regards,

The London Alternative Market Team
