Well it's almost LAM time again and we have a great day in store.
As many of you will be aware the regulations on smoking in public places are changing and the LAM is the first UK fetish event to be effected by the smoking ban. All places of work will be affected as of 1st July and as such if you require a cigarette break you will need to leave the building, re entry passes are available from the ticket office.
This month we are supporting the Chesterfield conclave, although strictly not a London or South East based event seasoned veterans of the scene will know the organisers well and I am sure are as keen as the LAM crew is to offer what support we can. The LAM fund is available for all UK based scene causes and events that need support, whether its help with a deposit for a venue or sponsoring flyers for a local munch it is money raised for the community by the community and we always welcome applications.
The official schedule for the day is:
The LAM after market party is unfortunately still homeless but we are negotiating for the us of some play space and hope that things will be back on track for the Aug event.
Tickets will be on sale for various SM events including the knife play workshop on 4th August. Information on these and other events is available from the community desk.
Don't forget the LAM love police will also be out and about all month; if you spot someone you want an introduction to, tell anyone wearing a love police arm band and they will be happy to help. If you are interested in joining the Love Police please let us know, we are always keen to recruit.
To date the LAM has raised over £8450 in support of scene causes and community projects – for this, and your continued support, we would like to thank you.
The venue have also asked us to remind everyone that only food and drink purchased on the premises can be consumed at the event, all bottles will need to be checked into the cloak room to avoid confiscation.
We're looking forward to welcoming you back on the 5th July for the next LAM.
Regards,
