London Alternative Market

Newsletter - November 2007

Dear subscribers,

Well it's almost LAM time again and it’s a welcome return to the Clapham Grand and what a show we have in store for this month.

This month's LAM will be in support of SM Gays who are raising funds to update reprint their safe sex guides to aid community education and safe play. They will be giving the 12:30 workshop on mummification and I am sure will be mentioning the other subjects they present on.

Although most fireworks displays will be the night before and Club Subversion’s birthday party is certain to go with a few bangs we have booked an Ariel display of our own. Make sure you get a good view for Dangerous Dolly sky dancer.

We are joined this month by a new stall Kiss Me Deadly with inspired and desirable stockings, lingerie and suspender belts.

The official schedule for the day is:

  • 11am — Doors open.
  • 12:30pm — LAM workshop mummification by SM Gays.
  • 2pm — Stage show featuring Dangerous Dolly silk sky dancer
  • 3pm – Draw for LAM cash followed by stand up act from Sam South the writer of a new play A good sub story the up coming production by Act Provocateur International
  • 4pm — Update from SM Gays and raffle draw.
  • 6pm — LAM closes; 'til next month, of course! But the fun continues at the after market party which is proving popular for those who want a meal before playing and relaxing away the end of the weekend

Don't forget the LAM love police will also be out and about all month; if you spot someone you want an introduction to, tell anyone wearing a love police arm band and they will be happy to help. If you are interested in joining the Love Police please let us know, we are always keen to recruit.

We're looking forward to welcoming you back on the 2nd December for the next LAM which although a little early in the season will certainly be a lot more fetish than the average office party.

Regards,
