London Alternative Market

Newsletter - December 2007

Dear subscribers,

Well it's almost LAM time again and we have a great day in store with something of a festive feeling and a chance to catch up with friends old and new before the season of endless office parties and nilla commitments kicks in.

We have a few new stalls for those looking for a special present this Christmas:

  • Jack the Rubber – rubber with a devious twist
  • Melting with light – hand made dichromic glass jewellery and accessories
  • Tarts and Teas – edible treats and kinky cakes in the gallery area
  • Deviant Play – toys clothes and accessories
  • Loveshack – leather goods and massagers including the world famous Hitachi magic wand

The official schedule for the day is:

  • 11am — Doors open.
  • 12:30pm — LAM workshop will be the scene survival guide vol 1
  • 2pm — LAM cash draw and stage show, something festive and under wraps until the day
  • 4pm — LAM secret Santa, details on the day from the community desk, the prizes will be varied and diverse and will include an original oil painting by fetish artist Georgie Tier, tickets to the new play A good sub story at the Lion and Unicorn Theatre.
  • 6pm — LAM closes; 'til next year, of course! But the fun continues at the after market party which is at a new location in Battersea.

We are looking for your suggestions for the LAM secret Santa. After the 2pm LAM cash draw we will be asking people to nominate someone who they feel deserves a special thank you present the only rules are that you must be at the LAM for the draw at 4pm and nominating my Dom/me because she is the best Dom/me in the world is not justification enough.

The LAM after market party continues at a new venue; tickets are £5 and can be purchased from the community desk in the lobby or from the organisers who will be at the LAM from 1pm onwards. The party has moved again to a new location in Battersea offering a much larger space to play and socialise in with a ceiling height unlikely to interrupt the most vigorous of floggings.

Don't forget the LAM love police will also be out and about all month; if you spot someone you want an introduction to, tell anyone wearing a love police arm band and they will be happy to help. If you are interested in joining the Love Police please let us know, we are always keen to recruit.

We're looking forward to welcoming you back on the 6th January 2008. Thanks for all your support throughout 2007.

Regards,
