Workshops

Each month at 2pm and 4pm we plan on having two separate workshops, hosted by Simply Workshops. Each workshop will last in the region of thirty minutes, and will be held downstairs in front of the all day dungeon and are well sign-posteded throughout the venue. The workshops will be free - that is, included in the cost of admission to the LAM.

The May workshops will be:

2pm — Pink Therapy; ever wondered who to turn to when you're kinky and need a kink friendly, non judgemental professional therapist?

4pm — Talking Bollocks with Uncle Micky; A question and answer session with the good man himself.

Choose from twelve workshops within three streams of play, Fetish & Fashion, SM Play, and Bondage.

Sunday

Two Rope drop-in dojos — the area will be equipped with a range of suspension devices as well as a few bondage tables, boards and other items of fun and a lot of foam flooring and cushions. This is your chance to learn and practise in a relaxed and comfortable environment, and most importantly have fun with rope!

We are hoping to illustrate some of the range and diversity that makes rope bondage such an expressive and emotive art form in an open and relaxed environment.

The drop in sessions will run for 110 minutes at 12 and 4 and entrance will be by full or half day ticket.

There will also be a series of 5 workshops and SM play demonstrations (held in the workshop and dungeon area); provisionally, these will cover:

  • Latex care and wear
  • Making the most of your wardrobe
  • Impact play
  • Fire play
  • Needles

4pm — Demo: Q&A Session — An English country garden; Staples with a difference - by firemynxB - A lot of us already know the basics of staples, how to use them, how to put them in, and how to take them out, so for once, we are going to go for colourful, and fun, and put even more imagination into what we can do. So we are going to have our very own LAM-Flower-box in the form of our delicious demo bunny.

So just how clean are your toys. How do you keep them clean. Come and join us for a presentation by Dom-estics on ideas of how to keep your toys (of all sorts!) clean. From Floggers to Dildos, and canes to gags, find out how you can keep it clean whilst playing dirty.

4pm — By Cosmic — Kink Klinic — Absolute Beginners in Rope

Bring your rope, bring your questions. The Kink Klinic this month is a fun and interactive way to learn the ropes. So you have had plenty of people explain how to do rope, but this is your chance to learn in a relaxed atmosphere with a hands on approach. Cosmic will be here to answer your questions about rope, and talk you through some of the easier ways to keep your vict ...... volunteer tied up. Fantastic chance for beginners in rope, or those a little more experienced looking to pick up further tips.

Getting to the point — Morphia. Morphia will guide us through the basics of starting out with needle play, giving details of what you need as a basic start-out kit, what to do, and what not to do. How to handle the highs as well as the lows, and just what is it that people get from needle play! Please be aware; no needle play will be taking place at this workshop.
