Deadly Desire’s founder Emily passionately believes in the representation of diverse and marginalised groups within kink art and the fetish community.
Her Kink Art business was born from a total collapse of Emily’s life. However, once you hit rock bottom the only way is up.
Never one to give up, she evaluated what was important in her life and how she could realistically achieve creating a space to explore and support what was close to her heart while using her artistic talent.
Recognising the lack of diversity in the physical representation of people in kink art, she set about exploring themes around sexuality, taboos, projection biases, identity and sexual expression.
She wanted marginalised groups to be able to recognise themselves in her art and to eliminate the often internalised shame repressing the ability to be sexually confident.
Emily’s art focuses on shibari and rope play in a titillating but non-explicit way, which is accessible and identifiable but also fun.
Her work includes prints, greetings cards, rope art and original paintings.
She is available for commissions and is always happy to have a chat about people’s experiences and desires to help influence further new pieces.
